Terms of Service

Effective October 28, 2026 · Version 2026-10-28

The short version

This summary is for convenience. The full terms below control.

1. Who we are and what these terms cover

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Dribble Creative, doing business as PortalWire (“PortalWire,” “we,” “us”) and govern your use of the PortalWire website, web app, phone app, alerts and related services (the “Service”). By checking the agreement box, creating an account, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don’t agree, don’t use the Service.

If you use the Service for a college, university or athletics department (your “Institution”), you agree to these Terms for yourself and, to the extent you have authority, on behalf of your Institution. If you don’t have that authority, your Institution’s use is subject to the separate agreement (if any) between your Institution and PortalWire, and these Terms still apply to you personally.

2. Eligibility and NCAA Transfer Portal authorization

The Service is only for coaches, staff and administrators of college athletics programs who are at least 18 years old and are invited by PortalWire or by an administrator of their Institution’s account. By accepting these Terms you represent and warrant that:

PortalWire is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the NCAA or any conference. “NCAA” and “Transfer Portal” are used only to describe the information the Service works with.

3. Your account

4. Compliance is your responsibility

The Service is a tool for organizing information. It does not decide who may be contacted, recruited, offered or paid. You and your Institution are solely responsible for:

Nothing in the Service is legal, compliance, financial, tax or NIL advice.

5. Portal information, statistics and projections

The Service shows transfer portal entries and status changes, box-score statistics, opponent ratings, and PortalWire’s own calculations — including team scores, player impact numbers, archetypes, projections and recommendations (“Projections”).

We do not promise that any particular data source, sport, division or season will be included. We may change, pause or stop any data source or feature at any time, including because a source changes its terms, format or availability. Some features may be labeled as previews or early releases; they may change or be removed without notice.

5A. Third-party services

The Service relies on third-party hosting, network, email, notification, payment and data services that we do not control. We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, security or acts, or for any outage, delay or data loss they cause. Links to or information from third parties do not mean we endorse them. Team, conference and organization names are used only to identify them and belong to their owners.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to, and not to help anyone else to:

We may monitor use of the Service for security and to enforce these Terms, and we may investigate suspected misuse. If we believe portal information or the Service has been misused, we may suspend access and may share relevant account and activity records with the affected Institution or as required by law.

7. Your content

You and your Institution keep ownership of the notes, boards, plans, prospects, NIL entries and other material you put into the Service (“Your Content”). You give PortalWire a limited license to host, store, process and display Your Content only to provide, secure and support the Service for your Institution. You are responsible for having the right to enter Your Content and for its accuracy. We don’t sell Your Content and don’t share it with other Institutions. You are responsible for keeping your own copies of anything important; we are not responsible for loss of or damage to Your Content.

If you send us ideas or feedback, we may use them without any obligation to you.

8. Our property

The Service — including its software, design, models, Projections, compilations of data and the PortalWire name and logo — belongs to PortalWire and its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. We give you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the Service for your Institution’s internal athletics purposes while your account is active. All other rights are reserved.

9. Fees

Pricing has not been announced. If the Service or any feature requires payment, the price, billing period and payment terms will be shown before you are charged. Payments may be processed by a third-party reseller or payment processor, which may act as the merchant of record and apply its own terms. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or stated in writing.

10. Suspension and termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or end your access, or your Institution’s account, at any time if we believe you have broken these Terms, your portal authorization has ended, your use creates risk for PortalWire or others, or we stop offering the Service. We are not required to keep or return Your Content after an account ends, though we may provide an export on request where practical. Sections 4, 5, 5A, 6, 7, 8, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 16 survive termination.

11. Disclaimers

The Service, all portal information, statistics, alerts and Projections are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied or statutory, including warranties of accuracy, completeness, timeliness, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure or error-free, that alerts will be delivered, or that any information is current or correct. You use the Service, and rely on any information in it, at your own risk.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, PortalWire and its owners, officers, employees, contractors and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, recruits, eligibility, scholarships, NIL or other opportunities, data or goodwill, or for any NCAA, conference or institutional penalties, arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total liability for all claims arising out of or related to the Service or these Terms will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you or your Institution paid PortalWire for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100). These limits apply to all claims under any theory, including contract, tort (including negligence), product liability and statute, and apply even if a limited remedy fails of its essential purpose.

Claims relating to the Service may be brought only against Dribble Creative, and not against its owners, officers, employees or contractors personally, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Some jurisdictions don’t allow certain limits, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

To the extent permitted by law, you (and your Institution, where you accept on its behalf) will defend, indemnify and hold harmless PortalWire and its owners, officers, employees and contractors from any claims, losses, liabilities, penalties, damages and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use of the Service; (b) Your Content; (c) your breach of these Terms, including any inaccurate statement about your NCAA Transfer Portal authorization; or (d) your violation of any NCAA, conference or institutional rule or any law, including recruiting-contact and NIL rules.

If your Institution is a public entity that is not permitted to give an indemnity, this section applies only to the extent the law allows.

14. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising out of or related to these Terms or the Service will be brought only in the state or federal courts located in Colorado, and you and PortalWire consent to their jurisdiction. Before filing a claim, each party agrees to try to resolve the dispute informally by contacting the other in writing and allowing 30 days to respond. Any claim must be brought within one year after it arises. To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and PortalWire each waive any right to a jury trial, and all claims must be brought individually, not as a plaintiff or class member in any class, collective or representative proceeding. Where your Institution is a public entity, nothing here waives any immunity or requirement that applies to it by law.

15. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms. When we make a material change, we will update the version and effective date above and ask you to accept the new Terms before you continue using the Service. If you don’t accept, you must stop using the Service.

16. General

These Terms and the Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and PortalWire about the Service, except where your Institution has signed a separate written agreement with PortalWire, which controls if it conflicts with these Terms. If any part of these Terms is found unenforceable, the rest stays in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our written consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. Notices to you may be sent to the email on your account, and you agree to receive agreements and notices electronically. We are not liable for any delay or failure caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including outages of hosting, network or data providers, changes by data sources, labor disputes, natural events or government action. There are no third-party beneficiaries of these Terms.
